Understanding Children's Behaviour
This is a new webinar aimed to help early years practitioners understand children’s behaviour. Taking the opportunity to think about what has happened to the child and the why? Instead of what is wrong with the child. This webinar is based in thinking about children’s emotional development, behavioural stages of development and considering what is a trauma-sensitive early childhood.
This webinar will cover:
Defining behaviour and debunking common myths about children’s behaviour.
What is trauma-sensitive practise in education?
Adverse Childhood Experiences,
The importance of connection before correction.
The link between emotions and behaviour.
Co-regulation and self-regulation.
N.B. Unfortunately we do not record our webinars we only run them as live events. Once a ticket has been purchased within 48 hours you will be sent a zoom link to register, sometimes this ends up in your spam/junk mail so please do check there also. Please note that tickets cannot be transferred between people. Please note that attendees that arrive more than 15 minutes late will not be admitted into the training as this causes a disruption to the rest of the group.
