Maths in the Early Years

Math is all around us in the early years and this course gives practitioners the opportunity to explore early mathematical development and think of ways to extend math’s with your children. Mathematics in the early years can easily be intertwined into children’s play, exploration and learning; in a very practical way. 

We have developed this session in response to practitioners, expressions and comments about feeling a lack of confidence or ability to support mathematical learning in the early years. This session is aimed to make staff enthusiastic, excited and confident to participate in the area of math’s as part of their everyday practice.
