What’s Included
🌾 The Story of the Loaf – Printable Story & Prayer
A gentle, child-friendly journey through the stages of breadmaking, from field to table. Children meet “The Farmer… who ploughed the fields, planted the wheat seeds, and waited for the rain and sun to help them grow” and “The Baker… who ground the wheat into flour, mixed it up, and baked it into beautiful bread.” The pack ends with a reflective Prayer of Gratitude, encouraging kindness, thankfulness and community.
🍞 EYFS Harvest Workshop (45 minutes)
A warm, sensory-rich session perfect for early years learners. Children explore dough, create food collages, sequence the journey of bread and enjoy fruit and vegetable printing. The workshop supports communication, fine motor skills, expressive arts and early understanding of the world.
