A new series of webinars for the Autumn Term 2025 focusing on the continuous provision in early yeas settings. 9th September 2025 from 7:30 to 8:15 pm– The Importance of the Continuous Provision

This webinar will look at the importance of the continuous provision as the third teacher and the theory behind this. As well as how that links to the overall strand of enabling environments in the Early Years Foundation Stage. It will give you the opportunity to take away tools and ideas to evaluate the effectiveness of your continuous provision.

23rd September from 7:30 to 8:15 pm – Enhancing Your Role Play Area

This webinar will look at the importance of the role-play area in the early years. As well as sharing practical ideas and suggestions of how to enhance your role-play area and extend children’s learning. There will also be the opportunity to network and share your own practice and ideas.

7th October from 7:30 to 8:15 pm – Enhancing Sand and Water Play

Sand and water play is a fundamental part of the early years classroom. This webinar will look at why we encourage this play and how it supports learning and development. It will also give you lots of practical ideas about how to enhance the play and consider/discuss the importance of being child-led in your environment.

21st October from 7:30 to 8:15 pm – Enhancing Your Construction Area

The construction area is often a very popular area in early years settings. This webinar will explore the role of construction play in supporting children’s learning and development. But also, how you can enhance your construction play to support STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics).

4th November 2025 from 7:30 to 8:15 pm – Enhancing Your Small World Area

This webinar will look at how we support small world play through our continuous provision. Looking at how we can enhance play in particular to support children’s communication and language development as an underpinning prime area of the EYFS.

If for any reason you can not attend the webinar, please give at least 24 hours’ notice for a refund to be processed, any cancellations within 24 hours of the webinar will not be refunded. After the webinar/s you will receive an email containing a certificate and copy of the PowerPoint slides from the webinar.
