We have developed a unique session exploring what communication and language development is in the early years, developmental norms and how to promote, observe, assess and progress children’s communication and language development; through positive relationships and enabling environments.

Communication and Language is one of the Prime Areas in the early years and this is because it underpins all areas of learning. Children need a good level of communication and language development in order to achieve and reach their full potential across all areas of learning and development. Now more than ever in the sector we see children attending with poor communication and language skills or those far behind where they should be for their age and development.
